Coachella Special: Make Your Own Don Chella!

Coachella Special: Make Your Own Don Chella!

Coachella 2025 Signature Don Chella Recipe For Home!

It’s our 8th Year at Coachella!

We are so excited to be headed to the desert for yet another great year of music, friends and art at Coachella 2025! Come and find us in the main stage VIP area, where we’ll be caffeinating the festival with our favorite signature drinks plus our extra special exclusive ‘Don Chella.’

What is a Don Chella?

The milk-free version of our Spanish Latte, the Don Chella is made with brewed coffee, coconut condensed milk and a touch of cinnamon. We’re loving it iced for festival season, shaken for a little frothiness as a sunny day ‘pick-me-up.’

Make a Don Chella at home

If you’re in the mood for an Iced Don Chella but not making it out to the festival this year, why not make it at home!

Here’s a step by step on how to make your very own Iced Don Chella.

Ingredients:

6oz brewed coffee or cold brew concentrate (see our blog for a recipe)

1oz coconut condensed milk

1 cup of cubed ice

A pinch of ground cinnamon

Equipment:

Tall glass (16oz)

Cocktail Shaker

Step 1: Add ice to the cocktail shaker and pour in your cold brewed Menottis Coffee (we like the Tokyo Blend for this one, but any of our blends will work!)

Step 2: Add coconut condensed milk and a pinch of ground cinnamon

Step 3: Shake vigorously until your arm feels like it’s going to fall off

Step 4: Strain and pour into a tall glass before enjoying

Which Beans to use:

We recommend using the Tokyo blend for this one, it’s smooth and versatile and pairs well with milk. Though we don’t use straight up milk in this recipe, the condensed milk takes its place and using the Tokyo blend will ensure you don’t lose the body of the coffee to the sweetness of the coconut condensed milk.

See you there? Don't forget to tag us in your coffee + music moments @menottis
