How Do You Make A Peppermint Mocha?
Getting into the festive season?
Move over eggnog lattes and hello Peppermint Mocha!
If you can’t make it to a Menotti’s Coffee Stop to try one, make it at home instead with this step-by-step guide on making your own Peppermint Mocha.
We make ours with a home-made chocolate Ganache, but you can also use cocoa powder and stir it into the espresso to form a rich, velvety paste.
Barista Juan describes the reasons he loves the Peppermint Mocha by saying:
“Enjoying a hot Peppermint Mocha on a cold winter morning just hits different. Minty chocolate flavor hits when you take that first sip. It feels like it’s doing your body good during those cooler mornings!”
How To Make A Peppermint Mocha At Home - Ingredients & Tips
Which Beans pair best for a Peppermint Mocha?
We recommend using one of our blends to punch through the rich chocolate-flavor, Juan recommends the ‘V.S.E.B' or 'The Answer’.
Which milk pairs best with a Peppermint Mocha?
For maximum creaminess, whole milk is best, however if you’re looking for a plant based alternative, Oat milk can simulate a similar consistency and flavor profile.
We use Minor Figures Organic Oat Milk in Menotti’s Coffee Stop.
